Will you join me in giving thanks?
Each day this November I will construct one line of thanks.
I will try to remember my English class teaching notes about poetry being a jumble of picture words pushed through a trash compactor…highly concentrated and infused with emotion.
I would love for you to include a line of thanks in the comment section.
At the end of the day, I will rearrange our lines into a group poetry.
Will you sit at the Thanksgiving table of grace with me?
Let’s create something beautiful together
A community of gratitude,
A working of His Spirit,
A re-telling of the many graces which make us
Grateful.
I LOVE this idea!
I am grateful for a Savior who provides, walks through the storms with me, comforts when I need it, and when I fall, catches me on a pillow of grace.
(I could go on and on, but will stop with that:)
Yay! So glad that you’ll be participating! See you tomorrow ( or today since I am writing this tomorrow!)
KD–wonderful idea!
here’s my line: I’m grateful for early morning wake ups, gentle rain outside my window and the quiet time with just me and Him….
Lovely….can you come back tomorrow with that line? I’d love to use it in the first poem…
Well, what the hey, guess I can throw my 1 cent in- sorry, can’t afford 2 cents! 😉
(Ahem.) I am grateful for the dancing collection of electrons that turn photons into smiles, tears, and the wonder of my blogging friends.
Copy and paste for this for tomorrow’s post friend!! can’t wait to use it!
I’ am grateful for love, laughter and all the blessings that come from above.
me too, dear, me too!!
Poetry is “. . . a jumble of picture words pushed through a trash compactor.”
I never heard that before. Love it.
So we’re writing a poem. Cool!
Can’t wait to see your contribution!!!
What a grand idea – does it start tomorrow? Cuz I don’t see a line from you in this post. :>)
Yup! Please say you’ll come and play!
Mom: active mind and body, she challenges and embraces. I’m so glad I have her still with me, and she cares enough to take Amtrak to see me all by myself, without all my siblings vying for her attention. I am blessed.
You are blessed. You are dear to me…we must spend some time together soon!!
Grateful for the gift of life, each breath taken, every beat of the heart…all orchestrated, planned, ordained by The Author and Perfecter of life itself.
